Foottroller is a novel human interface device, which allows for natural locomotion and control through user foot actions. It connects to devices as a generic gamepad and effectively replaces a joystick, freeing the user's hands for other tasks.

1. Hands-Free Control: It replaces the joystick entirely. The user uses foot gestures—combinations of foot touch states and tilt angles—to control forward, backward, and lateral movement.
